Jasmine could smell the lies off the boy from a mile away, much less the few feet that separated them now. With all the nonsense he gave her over her fashion sense in the past, she hardly believed that he 'didn't notice her'.
"My...s-sense of style...is perfectly fine...! We've been over this already..." Her pout worsened. What a rude way to address someone you had known for so long! She fumed silently to herself while her sandal dug itself rhythmically into the sand. Part of her didn't even want to continue this conversation, as she knew where it would eventually end up; nonsensical rambling about changing her look, how she was bland...it wasn't as if she didn't know that about herself already.
"You're not going to find any inspiration here...it's cold, and grey, and boring...w-which I don't mind being, by the way...!"
