Jasmine shot up immediately, swiveling her head backwards to look at her afternoon assailant. He kept talking about beauty, surely he wasn't...

"Ruby?!" Flabbergasted, the girl curled her arms in front of her chest, into a rather sharp pout. "Don't scare me like that...!" Soon she dulled her misguided rage and exhaled deeply into the chilly air, her breath twisting and curling about before becoming one with the sky. "At least...t-tell me when you're coming for a visit so suddenly...would you?"

Jasmine had, unfortunately, met Ruby during a vacation to Hoenn. During her time off from the league she decided to travel to exotic places, namely the aforementioned Hoenn as well as the modernized Unova. Out of all the people she had met, Ruby was certainly the most...eccentric. Not that she minded his attitude; optimism was certainly welcome in her conscience, but his constant rambling of beauty and invasion of her personal space irked her from time to time.

However...he had shown her much beauty, in the form of Pokemon Contests, which she came to adore during her vacation. She had only Ruby to thank for that.
